In the Revenue Commissioner’s Office, we strive to administer the laws and administrative rules of the State of Alabama with equity and integrity in a courteous and efficient manner. It is hoped that this site is an extension of our goals.
Acting on behalf of the citizens of Marshall County, this office acts as agent for the collection and dispersal of real property taxes, business personal property taxes, and fees for the State of Alabama, Marshall County, a hospital system, seven municipalities, five school systems (representing eight school districts), multiple volunteer fire districts, and others.
The Marshall County Revenue Commissioner’s Office is the only entity which maps every parcel within Marshall County and is tasked with valuing every property. Using the links found on this site you can navigate to our maps and to the valuations of these properties as well as other resources and forms.
Please keep in mind that all the information found on or through this site is intended for tax purposes only and should not be used as a basis for making purchasing or legal decisions. The Revenue Commissioner’s Office is not the arbiter of property ownership. State law mandates that property owners are responsible for providing the Revenue Commissioner’s Office with accurate and up to date assessments of their real and business personal properties.
